The Battle of Als

Historical Documentary

The decisive battle of the War of 1864 took place on Als, a small Island off the coast of Southern Jutland. There are no heroic accounts to tell. The Danish troops were run over by the Prussians in less than a day, basically slaughtered. The battle has therefore drifted into oblivion.
