My Grandfather, Hitler’s friend

Historical Travel Documentary

Tv-journalist Adam Holm meets Albert Speers’ Danish grandson “How does it feel like to be the grandson of one the most notorious Nazis of WWII?”

To find the answer to this question, Adam Holm talks to Moritz Schramm, Speers’s grandson.

Albert Speer was Hitler’s court architect, good friend, and served as Minister of Arms during WWII.

Schramm has lived in Denmark for 20 years but never before spoken publicly about his lineage.

In this documentary, Schramm speaks with great candor of his grandfather’s crimes, his own life and upbringing. The collective guilt many Germans feel for the events of the Holocaust, weighs heavy especially on his family, though the war has been over for 75 years.
